Who is behind Tuvio

One developer, a registered Canadian business and an inbox a person reads. Here is who you would be trusting with your repository.

Birkan Tugcu

Founder and developer

I have been writing software since November 2015, mostly on the backend in C# and .NET: APIs, databases and the tests that keep them honest. Before that I trained as an industrial engineer and worked in quality engineering in the automotive sector, where the job is to find the defect before the customer does. Tuvio is the same job, pointed at code.

I built Tuvio for vibecoders: people shipping real apps with an AI assistant doing much of the typing. The assistant gets the app working. It rarely mentions that anyone can read every user's rows. Tuvio is there to catch that before launch, so you are protected, and so are the customers who trust your app with their data.

Reaching us

Email info@tuvio.dev. Birkan reads every message, and you will hear back within two business days.

What happens to your code

  • A Security Check reads your files on a temporary, isolated machine that is destroyed when the scan ends. We keep the report, not your repository.
  • Your code is never built, installed or run.
  • The free check never reaches an AI. On a paid check, AI Review sends the findings and the few lines of code each one points to, never your whole repository, with any credential masked first. It goes to Anthropic, whose commercial terms bar training on it.
  • We do not train any model on your code.
  • Access tokens you give us are encrypted, and nothing in the service ever sends one back.

The full detail, including retention and where data is processed, is on the privacy page.

Why it costs money

Tuvio is self-funded, with no investors behind it. The first check on every repository is free and comes out of our own budget, because anyone building with AI should be able to see what they have left open, whether or not they ever pay us.

Paid checks cover what each one costs to run: the scanning machines and the AI Review. That keeps Tuvio answerable to the people who use it and to no one else.

Other CodexMotive work

CodexMotive also makes an accessibility audit, at codexmotive.com/audit. It is a separate tool on purpose: testing accessibility means running your app, and Tuvio never runs your code.

Wondering how a check works? The questions people send are answered here, or read a real report before you connect anything.

Tuvio: an audit for the app you did not entirely write.
